Dr. Eric Grant
Dr. Eric Grant is excited to join Desert Valley Oral Surgery, bringing a unique and diverse background to the practice. With a bachelor’s in Construction Management and a master’s in Engineering Technology, he spent eight years in the oil and gas industry before discovering his true passion: patient care.
This newfound calling inspired him to pursue a path in dentistry. With family nearby, the Grants were grateful to start their new journey in Mesa, Arizona, where Dr. Grant attended A.T. Still University’s Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. During dental school, Dr. Grant felt his passions come alive as he used his developing talents to serve local communities and even rural areas of Mexico. As with anything he pursues, Dr. Grant wanted to hone his surgical skills and obtain excellence in his care for patients.
To further that goal, he attended an intensive four year residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of California San Francisco Fresno campus. During his time in Fresno, Dr. Grant received comprehensive training in various aspects of maxillofacial surgery, including complex dental implant oral reconstruction, maxillofacial trauma reconstruction, management of severe head and neck infections, benign and malignant maxillofacial pathology, orthognathic jaw surgery, andtemporomandibular joint surgery.
The Grants are once again excited to continue their journey back to Arizona and join long time friend, Dr. Donovan Hansen in practice at Desert Valley Oral Surgery.
Although he is a man of many interests, Dr. Grant spends most of his time getting hugs from his four beautiful daughters. He loves to take his family on paddle boarding adventures, camping and beach trips, and playing Lego. If everyone is asleep, Dr. Grant will take a moment for building stuff, weight lifting, and developing his new skill of sailing.
Most of all, Dr. Eric Grant is a dedicated oral surgeon with a passion for providing exceptional care and comfort to his patients. His commitment to excellence in patient care, coupled with his warm demeanor and diverse interests, makes him a respected professional in the field of oral surgery and a valued addition to Desert Valley Oral Surgery.
